New Business Administrator
Architectural Metalwork Installations Ltd manufacture, supply and install balconies, staircases, balustrades, and architectural metalwork to the construction industry. The Company has a well-established portfolio of Clients that is continually growing and, due to this continuing expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for a New Business Administrator to join the sales team in our Sheffield office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the sales team.
2. Research and source new leads and business opportunities via simple online tender platforms such as Glenigan and Barbour (full training will be given but any experience of these systems would be beneficial).
3. Effectively record, manage, and report on all new business opportunities and ensure bids for work are regularly and effectively pursued.
4. Contact potential and existing customers by telephone and email.
5. Provide customers with complete details on our products and services. Promote our capabilities and reputation in the market and ensure the Company is always accurately, positively, and professionally conveyed to customers.
6. Maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers.
7. Assist in the completion of customer Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
8. Assist the team in creating marketing materials, brochures, online content, and social media campaigns.
Preferred Skills
1. Previous administration experience in a business development environment.
2. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the confidence and interpersonal skills to converse with people at all levels.
3. Confident telephone manner.
4. Be organised and methodical with effective time management.
5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
6. Excellent monitoring and reporting skills and the ability to provide consistently up to date information.
7. Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
8. Previous experience in a customer contact role.
