Parts Manager (Kendal Depot)
Cornthwaite Group are a leading supplier of global agricultural and horticultural brands, and we employ over 140 people throughout our five depots. We support our customers with quality products, outstanding aftersales and leading technology solutions. Our Parts Department hold over £2.9 million parts in stock and endeavour to offer first class customer service and ensure our customer’s uptime is kept to a maximum.
We are looking for enthusiastic and pro-active individual to lead and manage our Kendal Parts Team. As the Parts Manager, you will oversee the Parts Department and work alongside our Parts Sales Professionals. We have an increasing customer base and continued increase in turnover, a busy team which requires someone to continue to improve and grow the department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering the targets for the business by being responsible for ordering parts, goods in and out, merchandising in the retail area, and working with our customers to support their needs and address their queries.
* Ensure the Parts administration is supported correctly and on time.
* Manage the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring a customer first approach.
* Translate business strategy into operational plans for the parts department.
* Develop, coach and mentor our Parts Sales Professionals to ensure they achieve their objectives and outlet goals.
* Deliver results and where possible exceed outlet and dealer targets.
* Develop parts stockholding at agreed levels to ensure first time availability of parts to all customers.
* Work effectively with all other key stakeholders within Group and outlet to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
Attributes we are looking for:
* Strong communicator with the ability to effectively explain parts and products to customers and understand customer needs overcoming any objections.
* Robust technical knowledge with familiarity with the parts and products.
* Ability to persuade customers to make purchases and suggest additional products.
* Develop strong customer relations to encourage continued custom and ensure we remain the John Deere dealer of choice.
* Possess strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in order details, product numbers, pricing and CRM administration.
* Proactive and organised work ethic, with the ability to work on own initiative.

Job Type & Hours:
* Full time/ Permanent/ Monday – Friday. Plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
