Description NOV is looking for a Project Planning Coordinator based in Great Yarmouth. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Development Strategy of Project Planning and Engineering Disciplines. Set-up and maintain Planning and Engineering electronic and paper files throughout Project Lifecycle. Co-ordinate Internal transmittals (work instructions, drawings, pick waves etc). Reporting document status for projects to Supervisor. Control movement of documentation to and from suppliers in an accurate and timely manner. Assist Engineering with BOMs through to Purchasing, liaise with suppliers as required. Attend and take part in Project Kick-Off Meetings and Progress Meetings. Take minutes at Departmental Meetings. Support all departments throughout the Project Lifecycle. Understand the set-up and operate the Company ERP System. Archive Project and Engineering electronic and paper files as per working practices and processes. Contribute to the development of systems and improvement in working practices and processes. Be fully familiar and conversant of systems and improvement in working practices and processes. QUALIFICATIONS Essential GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Desirable Some form of engineering qualification. EXPERIENCE Essential Experience within a supply chain environment Track record of negotiating with suppliers Desirable Experience working within the oil & gas industry. Experience of working to accreditation standards as determined by individual projects SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE Essential Experience of working to ISO accreditation standards Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook) ERP & Purchasing Systems Desirable Working knowledge of Omega. Working knowledge of Team Centre or similar platform for shared resources. Working knowledge of Microsoft Projects. Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area. TRAINING Participate in training where required.
