Business Development Director - Public Sector

They are looking for a hungry, ambitious, and joyful Senior Business Development Manager! We require experience in selling to the Public Sector, with a focus on complex solutions and strategy. You will be based in the city of London and in the office Tuesdays-Thursdays, with the rest working from home. The role will be titled Account Director, but it is a Strategic New Business role.
What will you do?
Key responsibilities for this job include:
1. Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term business plans to exceed targets
2. Achieve and exceed margin, contract value, and revenue targets
3. Deliver against key performance indicators and objectives
4. Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close key new business deals
5. Build and maintain a solid and robustly qualified pipeline of sales
6. Forecast monthly and quarterly sales achievement
7. Maintain opportunity pipeline and deal positions on CRM (Salesforce)
8. Develop strategy, produce win-plans, and execute on major deals
9. Define target list and engage suspects based on clearly defined criteria
10. Carry out and record target prospect meetings in line with agreed KPIs
11. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the factors impacting the technology market, adoption, and trends for assigned verticals
12. Generate strong relationships with senior executives within customer and prospect base
13. Develop and sustain a network of contacts and key individuals within assigned verticals and target market arena
What do we want?
Experience in selling to the Public Sector is essential, ideally with solutions within tech. Managed IT Services and solution-based tech experience is a must for this role. We are looking for intelligent and driven individuals; you will earn at least a minimum of 6 figures based on experience in the team.
This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate! The salary range is large, £40k-£70k basic, as we are open to someone growing into the role or offering a higher range for an experienced senior business development director. Uncapped commission with proven earners in the team.
