People Advisor – Maternity Cover (12 Months)
Location: Lichfield HQ & Operations Centre (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 from home)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing
Be a Trusted People Partner – Support managers with expert HR advice, helping them develop their teams and navigate people challenges with confidence.
Drive Employee Engagement – Embed our culture, values, and leadership principles to create an exceptional workplace where people feel inspired to succeed.
Champion Employee Relations – Handle cases including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management with professionalism and care.
Manage Family-Friendly Processes – Support maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
Support Talent & Performance – Work with managers to identify top talent, develop career pathways, and implement performance management strategies.
Turn Data into Insights – Produce HR reports that highlight trends and opportunities to enhance our people strategy.
Enhance Communication & Feedback – Support the Employee Forum, giving employees a voice and ensuring key discussions lead to action.
What We’re Looking For
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) – with solid experience as a People Advisor/HR Advisor.
Employee Relations Expertise – Confident handling ER cases, from first-line queries to complex issues.
Fast-Paced & Adaptable – Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a high-energy, ever-evolving business.
People-Centric & Commercially Aware – A true relationship-builder who understands how HR drives business success.
Proactive & Analytical – Not just responding to issues, but anticipating challenges and finding solutions.
Excellent Communicator – Whether coaching managers, resolving issues, or presenting insights, you engage and inspire.
HR Experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Logistics – A plus, but not essential.
