We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Costa Coffee Team Leader to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Deliver the perfect cup of coffee to every customer
2. Provide an exceptional customer experience
3. Prepare hot and cold foods
4. Use tills and cash handling
5. Maintain high levels of health and hygiene in store
6. To lead shifts when required including opening or closing of the store
7. Train and support Baristas in delivering an unbeatable coffee experience
8. To make and present hot and cold foods to include sandwiches, paninis and toasties
9. Cash Management of tills and floats
10. Responsible for ordering consumables/Food and accepting deliveries
11. To comply with store and hospital safety standards
12. Review monthly audit scores and ensure standards are delivered 100% of the time
13. To be knowledgeable about products and answer customer queries in a timely fashion
14. To brief and communicate any changes or introduction of new drink recipes
Our ideal Costa Coffee Team Leader will:
1. Be passionate about customer service
2. Able to work under pressure
3. Confident working in a hospital environment
4. Have previous barista experience and supervisory knowledge, including completing rotas, performance reviews and return to work interviews
5. Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
6. Be a brand ambassador with a strong passion for coffee standards
7. Quality driven, with a sound knowledge of health and safety and an awareness of food and hygiene standards
8. Have the ability to communicate effectively with all customers, including patients, visitors and healthcare staff
9. Be confident working in a hospital environment and aware at times you will meet patients that are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress
10. Possess good IT skills; fully competent in Microsoft Office and educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
