JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a high performing individual to join the Supply Chain Function to lead the material planning team, who are responsible for ensuring our production operation has the products they need on time to get customer boxes out the door. This role reports into Associate Director of Supply Chain. This is the perfect role for someone to elevate their career in supply chain, and who has a passion for creating operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Continuously generating an overview of available products for production, ensuring risks are raised and addressed proactively to ensure the highest likelihood of mitigation
2. Act as primary interface between the production and supply chain team
3. Liaise with our suppliers and hauliers on inbound deliveries, keep production team updated on any late or redeliveries
4. Provide information to supply planners and update supply planning tools based on events on site to ensure an accurate data picture to inform ordering/future planning
5. Collaborate with product, procurement, and Food Safety to identify the best substitutions, and ensure alignment among stakeholders by updating the necessary sheets and tools
6. Ensure issues are well documented to allow for root causing, findings to wider supply chain and the procurement team, and engage in root cause analysis of incidents or KPI deviations
7. Evaluate supplier performance by analysing tickets generated through the week and reporting findings to wider supply chain and the procurement team
8. Ensure errors and substitutions are accurately logged and communicated to customers
9. Physically audit stock to ensure data accuracy
10. Minimise waste by reviewing expected expiring stock and finding solutions to avoid wastage, as well as ensuring production teams are utilizing stock in the correct sequence
Who You Are:
11. 5+ years of experience in supply chain/operations management
12. You have great communication skills
13. You are incredibly resilient and operate well under pressure
14. You think on your feet and find quick and efficient solutions to resolve problems with minimal impact to internal and external stakeholders
15. You are a self-starter, with a proactive attitude, and you embrace change
16. You are a confident decision-maker and can challenge the status-quo with new ideas
17. You find the perfect balance between bigger picture thinking and digging for the detail
18. You are a role model that excites and motivates other team members with your passion for success
19. Skilled in excel and data manipulation
