Job Title: Mathematics Educator
Location: North East England, County Durham, Stockton-on-Tees
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:
1. Design and deliver engaging and dynamic mathematics lessons to students
2. Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback and support their learning journey
3. Cultivate an inclusive and positive learning environment in the classroom
4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and share best practises
5. Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to elevate teaching practises
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics
7. Demonstrated experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level
8. In-depth understanding of the national curriculum for mathematics
Education:
9. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
10. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is preferred
Experience:
11. At least 2 years of experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting
12. Demonstrated experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
13. Comprehensive knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles
14. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and learning styles of individual students
Preferred Qualifications:
16. Advanced degree in Mathematics or Education
17. Experience using technology in the classroom to enhance learning
Working Conditions:
18. Work in a school environment with regular classroom hours
19. May require participation in extracurricular activities or events
20. Temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance
