NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a Secondary school in Bradford for a Behaviour Support Worker who is seeking a new full-time opportunity starting as soon as possible in 2025.
This role is to support across the school with behavioural issues and assist pupils in KS3 & KS4 who have Behavioural and SEMH needs. The main objective is to minimise class disruptions and to help pupils transition from the provision back into their assigned classes.
This is a full-time temporary to permanent position working Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm with 13 weeks of holiday per year.
Minimum Requirements:
Please note, if you do not have 12+ months of experience working with SEMH students you will not be shortlisted for this position.
Successful Applications Will Have:
* 12 months of relevant experience
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
* 2x professional references
* Right to work in the UK
* Strong understanding of Behaviour and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
