This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join the Acute team across the 2 Acute Hospitals You will join a team of Speech and Language Therapists who are situated within the Acute S< team as well as a Larger countywide Team of Adult Speech & Language Therapist and Support Practitioners.
This is a substantive post with the opportunity of full time and part time working.
Please note we will consider Band 5 to Band 6 Development posts depending upon current experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with specialist knowledge of differential diagnosis in adults with speech, language and swallowing difficulties and experience working with patients across various pathways.
The post holder will work within the Adult Speech and Language Therapy team to manage a complex caseload comprising a range of adult clients with various differential diagnosis.
The post holder will supervise SLT Assistant Practitioners and volunteers.
The post holder will provide clinical teaching of SLT students and will participate in the development and delivery of specialist SLT training to others.
Being a car driver is essential. There are two location teams to cover within the county
