Job summary
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic GP on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 6 months.
We would like this to be for 5 sessions a week from 2nd January 2025
Ideally we are looking for cover all day on Tuesday and Wednesday and Friday morning.

To support the GP partners and colleagues in the Practice to manage a busy, interesting clinical caseload.
To work as part of a full practice team that values contribution from all roles and engages to mutually support each other to provide the best patient experience.
About us
New Barn Close Surgery is an NHS General Practice, providing primary care service to Broadway, Worcestershire and the surrounding areas. We are a three partner, four salaried GP rural dispensing practice for 8000 patients.
We relocated to a new purpose-built medical facility in October 2021. The new premises is a wonderful state of the art building and is equipped with new facilities and equipment, including ample on-site parking.
We have an onsite dispensary which serves approximately 50% of our patients.
There is a full complement of ancillary staff including receptionists, dispensers, practice nurses and HCAs. We are a training practice for Specialist Trainee GP doctors and have a rotating final year medical student from Birmingham University.
Our close-knit team is committed to offering high quality, safe and effective care with a focus on providing excellent patient access and continuity of care.
We are a friendly welcoming team and pride ourselves in the communication between colleagues and after morning surgery clinicians gather for coffee, wellbeing and general catch-up and review any practice issues, patients, and referrals.

1. Experience of working as a GP in primary care. To uphold the principles of good medical practice as stated in the GMC statement of professional values and responsibilities.
Desirable
2. Available for 5-6 sessions per week To be available in September 2023
