Hotel Services Supervisor
Location: Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth
Hours: 37.5 hours per work, Full-time, Monday-Friday 15:00-23:00 (shift time may have some flexibility)
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

The role:
We are looking for an experienced Hotel Services Supervisor to join our team at Rivers Hospital, based in Sawbridgeworth. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Supervisor of the hospital’s housekeeping team.
You will be an active working supervisor and will not be managing a team. You will carry out housekeeping tasks and report into the Housekeeping Team Leader. As the Hotel Services Supervisor you will have great communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to demonstrate a broad experience in the cleaning sector within a healthcare setting, hotel or similar environment. You will take an active part in the team completing rotas and staff records. You will be responsible for completing training and audits/inspections to ensure we meet and exceed expectations, to drive constant development and improvement.
Consideration will be taken for candidates who show the necessary qualities for this role. The Hotel Services Supervisor will oversee the cleaning standards of patient rooms, clinical and public areas throughout the Hospital.
You will supervise the day-day activities of the Housekeepers, whilst training and developing the team’s skills and knowledge to ensure that high cleaning standards are met inline with the clinical expectations.
Key duties:
Supervision, training and development of Housekeeping team
Staff rostering, induction and PDRs and absence management
Conduct training sessions with the housekeeping team to include COSHH, Isolation/MRSA cleaning, Equipment handling, Health & Safety
To undertake hospital cleanliness audits with department leads and implement any actions with the team
Ability to multi-task
Overseeing and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment as required
