About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
This rewarding role involves working 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil who has a diagnosis of autism and an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). The pupil is pre-verbal but has some words, enjoys sensory play and crafts, and can focus when provided with prompts and scaffolds. They respond well to "now and next" boards and calming activities. As their SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting their development, ensuring they feel safe, engaged, and valued.
