Aim of the role
To maintain the high standards in the Hotel bedrooms and corridors.
Responsibilities:
1. To clean and maintain the hotel bedrooms with pride to the standards set by the Executive Head Housekeeper.
2. To take ownership and keep baskets and cupboards neat, presentable, and stocked to the correct standard at all times.
3. To complete tasks as delegated by the Executive Head Housekeeper and work according to the extra cleaning list, understanding flexibility and teamwork.
4. To ensure that all cleaning materials are used to the Executive Head Housekeeper's specification.
5. To complete store lists on the designated day and ensure stores are put away.
6. To report any maintenance faults and manage lost property.
7. To be passionate about using guest's names at every opportunity.
8. To assist with guest queries as required or refer to the Executive Head Housekeeper.
9. To be committed to attending necessary training sessions or meetings.
10. To ensure that Company Policy, the Vision Statement, and Departmental Objectives are followed and utilized at all times.
11. To ensure that all appliances, fixtures, and fittings are safe and comply with Health & Safety regulations, reporting any faults to the Executive Head Housekeeper.
12. All staff should confidently understand and execute the company's policies and procedures regarding privacy, confidentiality, and data protection.
13. To be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
