Location: Lymington, Hampshire (hybrid working)
A+T Instruments sells the world’s finest yacht instruments, beautifully designed and engineered. Our products are built on site in Lymington, Hampshire, and are fitted across a global market ranging from 90m superyachts to some of the fastest racing boats on the water. Our superb level of customer support and 24/7 troubleshooting is the foundation of our business.
The role:
1. Creating, developing and executing a comprehensive annual marketing strategy across multiple platforms including digital, press and PR, social media, and face-to-face contact such as events.
2. Brand development and management – reviewing the existing A+T brand and taking it forward to support our business goals and maintain consistent messaging across all platforms.
3. Developing and running our social media channels – primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. A deep understanding and proven creative delivery of content. Keeping track of insights and data and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns.
4. Managing our chosen marketing agency and other external contractors and freelancers to deliver results with our digital shopping platforms, paid digital advertising on Google and social media, email marketing, newsletter, website, and SEO.
5. Developing content for our email marketing newsletter in line with strategic objectives.
6. Working with the Founders to plan and maximise thought leadership content.
7. Working with the team to maximise opportunities at boat shows and other events, including face-to-face work with customers.
8. Performance analysis – evaluation of all aspects of the marketing strategy and adjusting accordingly.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful and results-focused marketing strategies that have delivered increases in sales.
2. Driven, self-starter with proven experience in sustaining work output in a hybrid working situation. Ability to prioritise and work across multiple projects with a focus on deadlines and delivery.
3. Excellent project management skills and strong management capability to manage contractors and freelance inputs.
4. Experience in developing digital content to support the marketing plan including social media posts, email marketing, and advertising assets.
5. Engaging writing style demonstrating understanding of key messages and consistent brand across all platforms, including writing and editing press releases and blog posts.
6. Experience in SEO and website management to drive traffic to our products and support sales.
7. Film editing skills, and the ability to create engaging video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and our website.
8. Good team player, able to work closely with sales staff and Founder/CEO. Comfortable with the ‘all hands on deck’ approach needed for an SME.
9. Flexibility to travel occasionally to represent A+T at boat shows and other key events. Full driving licence and own car.
10. Knowledge of the yachting, superyachting and the yacht racing sector.
11. Experience in contributing to business expansion, including creative ideas for new customer markets and brand development.
12. Experience in events management.
