Summary
The adventures we organise for children aged 10-14 years depend on volunteers aged over 18 to lead them on Monday evenings.
Detailed Description
Scouting is about teamwork, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. This is your adventure. The Section Team Member is part of a team that works together to plan, deliver, and run quality programmes safely. Scouts usually meet on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, but there are also occasional day trips or overnight events. The team ensures all young people can participate in the programme and gain skills for life by:
1. Creating a safe environment
2. Planning and delivering a great programme
3. Fostering a positive culture for everyone
You don't need any scouting experience; enthusiasm is the only qualification required.
Your journey begins with an induction that will guide you through the early weeks. You can complete training modules in various ways, including e-learning, virtual courses, or workbooks. Occasionally, a County Training Team member teaches these at different locations in the County.
What Volunteers Need: Disclosure and Barring Service.
