Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism and associated conditions? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 in a nurturing, engaging, and dynamic learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant (SEN), you will:
1. Support students in both academic and vocational settings (e.g., Bushcraft, animal care, and life skills).
2. Work alongside teachers to reinforce learning and provide tailored support.
3. Promote positive behaviour and implement personalised support strategies.
4. Assist students in achieving their individual EHCP targets.
5. Encourage social interactions and facilitate group activities.
Minimum Requirements:
* Passion for supporting young people in education.
* Ability to manage a range of behaviours, including those that challenge.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or equivalent - desirable).
* Willingness to work within the physical demands of the role.
