Position Summary
In this position, you will directly report to the Pure Soluble Coffee Supply Lead for COFFEES EUR while maintaining strong connectivity with the UK Market. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by leveraging supply planning capabilities, collaborating in a dynamic environment, and supporting Category objectives.
You will be responsible for building robust production plans for our high-profile coffee brands, ensuring that finished and semi-finished goods are available with the highest quality, at the right stock location to meet customer demand while minimising costs.
This role manages the production planning of soluble materials in the Tutbury factory, which are sold in the UK as well as in other European Markets. The role participates in ATM and local Supply Chain projects driving savings and efficiency improvements.
A day in the life of a Senior Category Production Planner
The key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Establishing an 18-month production plan for soluble coffee in the Tutbury factory, ensuring continuous product availability in all receiving locations.
2. Creating Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns and investments.
3. Providing information on labour requirements through Committed Capacity.
4. Creating a feasible and optimal production plan that respects the available capacity.
5. Identifying and effectively addressing all potential capacity issues in advance, working closely with multiple stakeholders to implement solutions.
6. Identifying possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-month horizon.
7. Actively supporting the “Strategic Volume Planning” process by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning, and contingency proposals.
8. Coordinating AVC consolidation, volume forecast affiliates, and acting as SPOC for Market Controlling.

The successful candidate will focus on providing excellent service in satisfying customer demand while optimising costs. We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
1. Relevant operational experience at market/business level, in at least one of the following areas: Factory Planning, Supply Network Planning, Purchasing, Factory Production Leadership, or Demand Planning.
2. Experience in the following processes would be highly beneficial: Product Life Cycle process, Factory Master Data Management, CAPEX, or Strategic Planning.
3. A detailed knowledge of inter-market supply planning best practices and processes.
4. Demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders both externally and internally.
5. A good awareness and understanding of business and market trends.
