Salary: Up to £32,500 depending on experience (includes London weighting)

The British Cycling Talent Development Team identifies and nurtures exceptional talent, shaping future Olympic, Paralympic, and World Champions. We are currently recruiting a Talent Inclusion Coach to help diversify and strengthen our talent, club, and competition pathways.
About You
We are seeking individuals with a strong understanding of high-quality talent identification and experience supporting athletes as they progress through performance development pathways. The ideal candidates will be passionate about inspiring and engaging young people (especially those from outside cycling), possess exceptional communication, planning, coaching and delivery skills, and have a clear understanding of the standards required for success.
You should have the following:
1. A Level 2 or higher coaching qualification (not necessarily in cycling).
2. A degree in coaching, sports science, physical education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3. Proven experience in talent identification and delivery.
4. Knowledge of the British Cycling rider pathway and the standards for rider progression.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. A full UK driving licence valid for domestic and international travel.
What You Will Be Doing
Our mission for the Talent Development Pathways (2025–2029) is to “develop the best and most connected cycling talent pathways in the world.” This mission focuses on identifying, supporting, and developing riders with the greatest potential for entry into the Great Britain Cycling Team’s Olympic and Paralympic pathways.
As a Talent Inclusion Coach, you will play a vital role within the Talent Development coaching team. You will lead, coach and deliver targeted rider identification, ensuring smooth transitions into talent and club pathways. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the next generation of athletes, with the ultimate goal of achieving success at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
