My client is looking for a hardware component engineer to work on aerospace date recorders and recognise fault finding. The role will be working onite in Bournemouth 3 days per week. The role will involve
* Electronics fault-finding and repair to component level
* Knowledge of Digital, Analogue and Microcontroller based circuitry
* An aptitude for mechanical engineering and problem solving (but primarily Electronics biased)
* A structured, methodical approach
* A flexible approach to working - Able to adapt to situations as part of a dynamic team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook)
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Previous experience in Avionics, Aerospace or other highly regulated industry
* Good communication skills - Able to discuss technical matters with customers effectively
* Practical, hands-on engineering - Capable of repairing and maintaining electronic equipment
* An ability to work with minimum supervision
* Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook)
* Previous experience in Avionics or Aerospace industry
* Previous experience with Technical Authoring / Aviation Publications
