We are looking for an enthusiastic midwife with a passion and experience within the triage setting as Lead Midwife for Triage (Band 7).
The successful applicant will support and develop changes within the Triage setting in particular the oversight of BSOTS and triage. The role will be supported to develop leadership skills and responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high quality service that is woman focused and meets the needs of the individual.
This is full time post cross site but we will consider job share 18.75hpw for Ipswich Hospital and 18.75phw for Colchester Hospital.

You have continuing responsibility for the assessment, implementation and evaluation of programs ofcare,ensuringthatsafestandardsofcarearemaintainedandforthesmoothdaytodayrunningof theward within the allocated resources.
Theroleencompassesliaisonwithotheragenciesandthemanagement,teaching,supportandempowerment of junior and newly qualified midwives and healthcare assistants.
You will also take ‘Bleep Holding’ responsibility on a rotational basis with other colleagues, ensuringsafestaffingandsafestandardsofcarewithinallocatedresources.IncludingactingasDeliverySuite Coordinator if required.
