Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer on a 6 month Contract, located in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems with PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
* Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications. Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
* Respond to service tickets and user inquiries promptly.
* Document support activities and solutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
* Work closely with IT teams and other departments to ensure seamless operations and support for all technological needs and industry standards.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience
* Needs SC Clearance
* Previous experience in a deskside support or helpdesk role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking principles.
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
