A busy business within the Plant and Equipment for Sale / Hire sector is looking to recruit a Customer Service and Sales Co-ordinator along with a Customer Service and Sales Controller for their office in the Bedford area. If you are comfortable in customer service and sales situations and can co-ordinate and work alongside a sales team, then this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
These are full time, office-based roles and the hours of work will be between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Due to the location, you will require a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal with telephone, email and face to face enquiries; orders from customers and provide accurate information as required.
2. Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and that procedures for hire and sales contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, and asset administration are adhered to.
3. Liaise with the warehouse to ensure equipment required for hire is available and provide a prompt and efficient service to customers both internal and external.
4. Co-ordinate Drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently.
5. Maximise all revenue opportunities.
Key Skills/Experience:
1. Strong customer service and communication skills.
2. The ability to work within a busy and reactive environment.
3. A team player with the ability to communicate across all levels.
4. Sound IT knowledge including MS Office programmes.
