HARWICH & DOVERCOURT HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATE TEACHER Pay Range: Local Government Scale 5, Point 9-12 Actual Salary from: £18,624 – £19,589 Start Date: ASAP The Role We are seeking an outstanding individual to supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers. Associate Teachers will give instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher and the primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task. This post is 32 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days) Please note that we reserve the right to close this advert early should we receive an overwhelming response. Some of your key responsibilities will include: To supervise individuals or very small groups of students as required. To give administrative and technical support to subject departments, provide examination supervision and accompany school trips.
