Nursery Chef - Ashtead, Surrey
£29,494 per annum
40 hours per week Monday to Friday - no late nights and all weekends off!
Please note this is a 52 week contract and not term-time only as the nursery is open all year round.

People are the most important ingredient in their business recipe, and they are looking for an experienced Nursery Chef with fantastic craft skills and a background of developing and leading a team to help them create an outstanding food offer at their nursery school site in Ashtead, Surrey with approximately 40 children on site, aged from 6 months to 4 years. You will be reporting into the Group Manager at the main school site.

As their ideal Nursery Chef you will:
* Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience
* Some experience of working in nurseries
* Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
* Have good communication skills at all levels
* Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail
* Have comprehensive understanding of managing allergens
* Have the ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
* Have financial and budget awareness
* Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
