Our client is an industrial processing business. They are looking for a proactive and driven Operations Manager to oversee all operational activities at there energy from waste plant in Worcester.
Role & Responsibilities:
Overseeing all operational activities on the energy from waste (EfW) plant
Managing a team of 9 people
Provide operators with training & development plans
PPM planning, strategic workload allocation, project management
Creating SSoW, RAMS, RTW's, continuous improvement plans
Monitor and manage KPi's, budget targets, engineering compliance, health & safety
Staff performance reviews, disciplinaries, appraisals, holiday management, sickness
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience as an operations manager, shift manager, production manager or in a similar role
Qualified to HNC / HND level ideally
Must have experience in anaerobic digestion, energy from waste or a similar environment
Knowledge of Health & Safety, continuous improvements, KPi performance management
Experienced in creating SSoW (Safe Systems of Work), new procedures, SOP's
Financial control & budget monitoring experience
Beneficial to have IOSH / NEBOSH Health & Safety
Strong and effective communicator
