PMO Analyst – Salary circa £38,000 We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Analyst to be a part of our high performing and highly valued team, within our Group Transformation function, which plays a key role in supporting our change community delivery and change portfolio to deliver Aviva’s strategy. The team works alongside other Business and IT professionals, in cross-functional teams, providing dedicated front-line PMO services to deliver industry changing solutions which have our customers’ interest at heart. A bit about the job: The role is fast paced, and no two days are the same. You will be working at the heart of our strategic programmes, setting the standards and being the source of tools, approaches, and guidance. You will steer programmes towards a steady state through application of the right governance, planning, risk, issues, and financial management. As the PMO Analyst, you will provide day to day support of the Programme Director/Manager for complex and large-scale projects across the key PMO pillars; Oversight, Insight, Foresight and Hindsight, so that we can: Proactively highlight deviations, trends and issues ahead of time (Governance) Call out issues/trends/impacts, identifying themes and areas for investigation to support delivery (Planning) Provide confidence that change is managed to clear risk tolerances within an effective system for predictable, no surprises delivery (Risk) Act on behalf of the “Bank Manager” and ensure agreed investment money is spent appropriately, and action is taken where it is not Day to day engagement with a range of local stakeholders involved in all aspects of Change activity to drive effective deployed support across areas Aviva operates a “smart-working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Norwich orYork. Skills and experience we’re looking for: PMO experience with a solid record of delivering change. Self-starter, able to operate with minimal line intervention, accountable for managing own workload to successful conclusions. Comfortable with building positive relationship with stakeholders and are collaborative in nature with an inquisitive mind; passionate about removing waste and complexity. Good understanding of key change management tools e.g., Planview, JIRA. Ability to work with data, can analyse and turn it into insight to support decision making – along with understanding of IT and Business Portfolios and strategy.
