Hours: 37.5 Salary: £47,000 to £47,000 Annum Overview of the role Reporting to the Director of Quality and as a member of the Quality Team, the Health and Safety Officer will support the Director of Quality with the management of Health & Safety (H&S) across the organisation. To assist other members of the organisation with H&S matters as required. To work cohesively with the other members of the Quality Team to ensure a shared understanding and high standards of quality and safety. To support, line manage and develop H&S Auditors. Key duties H&S Audits and Inspections : Develop and review auditing formats, conduct audits, support services, provide reports, and monitor action plans. H&S Compliance : Support teams to comply with H&S policies, review policies and procedures, monitor legislative changes, provide advice, and attend manager meetings. Training : Develop and run H&S training courses. External Professionals : Collaborate with external professionals for reviews and projects. H&S Development : Support H&S development plans, run committee meetings, and monitor actions. Incident Review : Investigate serious accidents and incidents, review statistics, and produce reports. Insurance Claims : Liaise with insurers, manage requests, and review evidence. Quality Assurance : Conduct quality assurance reviews, produce questionnaires and reports. Personal attributes NEBOSH General Certificate OR OSH Level 6 Diploma Drivers licence is a must as extensive driving will be required to visit our services What are the benefits?
