Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Classic Porsche Technician/Mechanic to join our expert team. This role is ideal for someone who not only has technical expertise but also a genuine love for classic Porsches. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and restoration of classic Porsche vehicles, ensuring they continue to perform at their best and maintain their historical integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on classic Porsche models.
2. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports.
3. Restore classic Porsches to their original condition, including engine rebuilds, bodywork, and interior restoration.
4. Work with precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
5. Collaborate with the team to source rare parts and materials necessary for restorations.
6. Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in classic car restoration and repair.
7. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are informed and satisfied with the work performed on their vehicles.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with a focus on classic cars.
2. Extensive knowledge of classic Porsche models and their specific maintenance and repair needs.
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
7. A passion for classic Porsches and a desire to preserve their legacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ASE or equivalent certification.
2. Previous experience working in a Porsche specialist environment.
