Structural RC Detailer
Salary: £42k-£52k
Location: Near Watford
A medium-sized civil and structural buildings design consultancy is seeking an experienced permanent RC detailer to join their team.
Projects are generally larger RC framed residential and commercial developments, often multi-storey.
The company, which is around 50 years old and has approximately 40 staff, has developed a reputation for being a highly competent civil and structural engineering consultancy with adaptability and an innovative spirit.
In order to maintain a competitive advantage, the company keeps abreast of the latest developments in technology and maintains an impressive range of specialist software packages. All projects are engineered with 3D BIM Revit software.
The role will be 100% RC detailing, and you must have excellent communication skills and a desire to progress your career.
The ideal candidate will have:
* broad RC detailing experience
* experience in detailing large RC frame projects and all the elements of RC frame (foundations, beams, columns, walls, slabs)
* knowledge in using CADS RC for RC detailing (desirable but not essential)
* basic knowledge in using Revit - models are created in Revit and all outlines will be exported from Revit (this experience is not essential as training can be provided)
The company offers a competitive salary along with a pension scheme and holiday allowance. The office space is within walking distance of the station. Remote workers are not considered - you would need to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
