Salary / Grade: Grade 2, £12.80 per hour, plus 12.07% of the hourly rate for statutory holiday entitlement.

We have two exciting positions available for Casual Community Facilities Team Members who will be team players within the Community Facilities Team. The team manages 8 community centres, Cleavley Track, the community use at four high schools (during the evenings and at weekends), grass football pitches, Community Cafés, and tennis courts across Salford. The role will be to assist in covering annual leave, sickness, additional bookings, and parties at any of these facilities. The hours will be predominantly evenings and weekends; however, daytime shifts will also be available, therefore flexibility is a requirement. Whilst on duty, the candidate will be expected to effectively operate the Community facility to a high standard, including ensuring the facilities are in a clean and hygienic condition and completing any associated paperwork. The health and safety of customers is paramount.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has excellent customer service skills.
2. Is flexible and can work at any of the facilities across the city.
3. Will clean and maintain the facilities to a high standard.
4. Has the ability to use a PC, complete financial paperwork, and bank monies taken where appropriate.
5. Has the ability to complete check sheets and other paperwork in accordance with Health and Safety legislation including fire safety.
6. Can lone work as well as work within a team.
7. Consistently demonstrates SCL’s behaviours.
