Are you a proactive and experienced facilities leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment? Do you have a passion for operational excellence, sustainability, and delivering safe, compliant workplaces?
Axis CLC is a national leader in property compliance, maintenance, and energy efficiency services across social housing, defence, healthcare, and education sectors. Backed by HIG Capital, we’re on a bold growth trajectory following the 2024 merger of Axis Europe and CLC. With over 80 years of combined expertise, we’re now scaling our people, processes, and property estate to meet the evolving needs of our clients and communities.
We’re now seeking a Group Estates & Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our UK office sites — ensuring buildings are clean, safe, secure, and fully compliant. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you’ll manage service contracts, coordinate with contractors, and act as the key liaison for building users and office teams. You’ll also play a vital role in driving sustainability initiatives, managing budgets, and supporting fleet and operational needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the delivery of efficient facilities operations in our office in Stratford, plus oversee other locations
* Manage contracts for cleaning, security, maintenance, utilities, and property services
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and fire safety requirements
* Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and lead all audits and inspections
* Support ESG and sustainability efforts, including energy and waste management
* Liaise with procurement, finance, fleet, and third-party agents on office leases, closures, and setup
* Deliver cost efficiencies through supplier reviews, negotiations, and technology-driven improvements
* Be the first point of contact for facilities-related issues and ensure timely resolution
What We’re Looking For
* Strong multi-site facilities management experience
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations and building compliance standards
* Proven ability to manage suppliers, contracts, and budgets effectively
* Organised, solutions-focused, and able to adapt in a dynamic, growing business
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
* Strong IT and reporting skills, with a continuous improvement approach
Why Join Axis CLC?
* Be part of a purpose-driven, fast-scaling company backed by HIG Capital
* Help shape a workplace that is operationally excellent, sustainable, and future-ready
* Work with experienced professionals committed to innovation and growth
* Benefit from a collaborative culture, ongoing development, and performance bonuses
At Axis CLC, we believe that well-managed spaces power high-performing teams. If you're ready to take ownership of our group estate and deliver long-term impact, we’d love to hear from you.
