Rate £37.50p/h - £40.00p/h DOE

Plant layouts / Projects / Manufacturing / Production line
I am currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design engineer on an initial 1-month contract for a key client who require a skilled contractor to complete the design of brand-new line using AutoCAD 2D which is due to be installed in June.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineers duties:
Drawing of plant layouts using AutoCAD 2D
Detail design of new line (conveyors, baggers, hoppers, packers etc.)
Working closely with the Design Manager
Ensuring design project specifications are met
Working to tight timescales / deadlines
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
Knowledge production lines and plant layoutx
Project design experience working to tight deadlines
Strong mechanical engineering background
Competent AutoCAD 2D user
Motivated with a keen eye for detail
