This role is a new and exciting opportunity to develop, alongside experienced pain MDT colleagues, a psychological service for individuals with complex pain needs across Mid and South Essex Trust.
The trust brings together four hospitals: Basildon, Broomfield, Southend, and Orsett. Each has its own psychological staff, but there is now the opportunity to develop a team across the area continuing to offer evidence-based individual work and our extremely successful multidisciplinary pain management programme.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with patients and their families as well as other specialties to deliver the highest quality of individualized care to enable a seamless journey through their care.
This is a leadership role overseeing the supervision and development of other psychological colleagues and facilitating psychological reflection to the wider team. Your ongoing service delivery and personal and professional development will be supported by the management team within the pain service and the hospital-based psychological therapies service.
We are looking for a fully accredited and creative individual with experience working within the relevant health care setting. This role is available on a part-time/job share basis.

5. You will have experience and training in offering supervision and have offered consultation to a wide range of professionals.
