We’re looking for an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to join our Digital Workplace team, within our wider Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) team, in Manchester. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to provide support across our various End User Compute (EUC) services. We’ll look to you to make sure these services are deployed, configured, and managed effectively – closely collaborating with colleagues to optimise the use of EUC devices and resolve technical issues. If you’ve got the technical experience and knowledge of EUC services that we’re looking for, this is a great opportunity for you to play a big role in helping us to improve efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across Co-op. What you’ll do Provide guidance and technical support for the deployment, configuration, and management of EUC services (e.g., MCM and Intune) Use your knowledge of EUC services, such as device management, application packaging, image management, and AVD/Citrix to inform decision-making Identify opportunities to improve EUC service health, usage, and compliance, and resolve potential issues Assist with the development and implementation of policies related to EUC service management Support with planning, testing, and rolling-out new EUC features and updates Oversee and steer our managed service looking after EUC services, making sure our deliverables and ways of working are adhered to Work closely with colleagues across Co-op to understand their EUC needs and recommend appropriate solutions This role would suit people who have Experience in an IT Support or System Administration role – focusing on EUC services An understanding of EUC components, including device management, application packaging, Intune, MCM, AVD, and/or Citrix The ability to troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues related to EUC services Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences We know that some candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet all the criteria in the job description.
