37.5 hrs per week Monday – Friday 8.30am – 17.00pm We have a new vacancy in our Commercial team for a Customer Services Specialist. Working closely with relevant departments, this role will be responsible for supporting in the timely and efficient processing of orders from Cedo clients ensuring all related documentation is complete. Main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): Receive and process orders from clients; File applications for the selection of goods in the warehouse; Process customer documentation, ensuring orders are fulfilled and the customer database is kept up to date; Send information letters to the clients; Arrange, sort and archive shipping documents in a timely and proper manner; amend the documents for shipment in due time (in cases of return, defective goods, re-sorting, incorrect prices, etc.); Issue invoices for payment in due time (including via EDI); Customer visits when required to liaise with customer supply chain; Produce reports as defined and required. The ideal candidate will have: Competence using Microsoft Office; Excellent customer service skills; Good communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to interface effectively with internally and externally customers; Commitment to working as part of a team; Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of data accuracy; Understanding of and experience in EDI; Understanding of the basics of primary accounting and warehouse accounting; Previous administrative experience within a Customer Services Department would be desirable for this role.
