We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Frontier team, based at Ruddington, on a permanent, full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all maintenance of the plant, assisting in the operations of the site to meet commercial requirements whilst maximising efficiency and upholding quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
You will ideally have experience within a heavy plant industry, with experience fault-finding and repairing pneumatic systems, hydraulics, overhead cranes, elevators, gear boxes, sensors and/or conveyors.

About You
8. Qualified Mechanical Engineering whether it’s with City & Guilds or NVQ
9. Experience of working on a heavy mechanical plant
10. Qualified to work with electrics up to volts (17th Edition desirable but not required)
11. Able to work outdoors, at height and in confined spaces
12. Experience in supervising/managing others with the organisational skills to plan own and others workloads
13. Adaptable and able to work and manage under pressure and work towards deadlines
14. Ability to work cooperatively with others and without supervision, at times
15. Knowledge of three phase electrical systems and understanding of electrical drawings and programmable logic control (PLC)
Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:
16. Fault diagnosis and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems
17. Following safe ways of working, completing risk assessment’s
18. Identifying root cause and resolving issues
19. Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks as per PPM Schedule
20. Identifying Maintenance spares required and liaising with suppliers
21. Routine maintenance, repairs fabrication, troubleshooting on all aspects of production equipment
22. Operating flexibly when working with production staff
23. Assisting with outside contractors when bought in to install or service equipment
24. Being aware at all times of the safety hazards to yourself and others
