At JDE, we recognize that Ecommerce will continue to play a pivotal role in the growth of the UK coffee category. Over the next 5 years, online sales are forecasted to become the largest contributor to growth in both the category and at JDE. To capitalize on this opportunity, we have created a new role within the business to help implement our online strategy within our grocery channel. As our Online National Account Manager, you will be responsible for executing this strategy for our Top 4 online retailers and working with our account teams to deliver a fully omnichannel approach.
Reporting Structure
You will report to the Ecommerce Controller and be primarily part of the Ecommerce Team within the wider Sales function. You will also collaborate closely with our Top 4 customer teams to ensure alignment between online and in-store strategies.
Job Description
Primary Goals and Objectives
* Work with the Ecommerce Controller to execute our online strategy across our top 4 retailers.
* Drive profitable growth for JDE and our retailers, increasing our online market share.
* Develop and implement an online Joint Business Plan with our Top 4 retailers.
* Collaborate to optimize product listings and online presence.
* Lead our online value creation story and roadmap for online grocery.
* Serve as the primary contact and online strategy expert for our customers.
* Align online execution plans with in-store plans.
* Measure online media activity to ensure strong ROI.
* Coordinate with Digital Marketing and agencies to execute sponsored search campaigns.
* Manage CASA KPIs to ensure effective online execution.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
* Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years' experience in FMCG account management.
* Experience managing online accounts.
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Experience building new relationships and partnerships.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
* Experience delivering a Joint Business Plan (JBP).
* Knowledge of retailer systems such as DH.
* Willingness to travel and be mobile.
* Proficiency in English, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
