About this opportunity
We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. We’re putting in place a fresh operating model for non-financial risk management across the Group, empowering our people to take end-to-end accountability for managing the risks that they face! This means we’re changing how we do risk management, creating a team of risk specialists, to provide support aligned to our risk and control owners to deliver great customer outcomes.
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our team. You’ll lead the timely and accurate production of high-quality analysis and evaluation of the Operational Risk and Control environment in alignment with our Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). You’ll also work closely with our Insurable Risks team members to help analyse the Group’s corporate insurance requirements in relation to our Property & Casualty and Financial Lines.
So, if you’re passionate about risk management and data analytics, then this could be a perfect fit, and we’d love to hear from you!
Day to day you’ll be:
* Proactively working with Operational Risk Specialist teams to provide Risk support and help deliver against aligned customer, business, and strategic outcomes.
* Leading the provision of timely and accurate data, analysis, and documentation, to monitor and manage our Group’s continuous risk management performance.
* Providing technical coaching and support to our team of operational risk analysts.
* Ensuring findings and deviations are reported in a clear, accurate and compelling way to Executive-level and external audiences, focusing on action needed and opportunities presented.
* Adopting a range of techniques to deliver actionable insight which informs Operational Risk Specialist decision-making and contributes to the function and wider business. Places particular focus on predictive analytics to help identify and manage risks and trends before they occur.
* Leading the management of actions resulting from our continuous risk management, operational risk analytics and monitoring of insurable risks. Identifying issues and engaging partners effectively to secure action and improvements.
* Building a core understanding of insurable risks to support the identification of exposures and mitigants.
About us
We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.
What you’ll need
* Expertise in both operational risk and analytics.
* Technical proficiency in analytical and visualisation tools, including PowerBI and Tableau.
* The ability to grow and develop technical capability within our analytical team.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality analysis products at pace.
* Expertise in moving seamlessly between ‘the detail’ and effectively communicating high-level insight in an influential way to encourage action.
* Actively exhibits and promotes the LBG Values and brings them into all work. Also participates in the wider enrichment of CCOR, and the wider Group, to build a wonderful place to work.
