Those appointed to this role will gain valuable experience in modern accounts preparation techniques to supplement their existing knowledge. The jobs are fulltime and permanent, based in our offices in Duncrue industrial estate. There is no remote working available.
The Role
* Processing purchase invoices
* Processing sales activity
* Reconciling bank accounts
* Liaising with client suppliers and making payments
* Processing accruals, prepayments and depreciation
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Maintaining fixed asset registers
* Processing payrolls
* Managing auto-enrolment pensions
* Processing VAT returns
* Assisting with preparation of personal tax returns
* Assisting with preparation of schedules for year-end work for multiple client types
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified accounts technician
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role.
* Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organisational skills
* The ability to work well in a team environment.
* Experience with Xero, QBO and Dext highly desirable
