The role of a Oncology Pharmacist Specialist at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services within the oncology department. You will be responsible for maintaining pharmaceutical care plans, verifying treatment prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with current guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* To maintain accurate pharmaceutical care plans for all oncology patients, verifying treatment prescriptions and ensuring compliance with current guidelines.
* Develop and implement protocols and guidelines for SACT treatments, collaborating with clinicians to ensure safe prescribing practices.
* Provide expert clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, discharge medications, and provision of drug information.
Requirements:
* UK Registered Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
* A minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in oncology and haemato-oncology.
* Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and clinical staff.
