The Commercial team plays a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and market competitiveness by balancing customer needs with financial objectives while navigating competitive and regulatory pressures.
Reporting into the Head of Core Commercial, this Senior Pricing Manager will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to define a clear and robust pricing strategy, review and share market trends, assess & recommend commercial promotions and price points on both new and existing products. The Commercial team plays a key governance role to ensure TalkTalk can remain competitive, and you will be our commercial gatekeeper and the lead on our pricing strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Define the pricing strategy across multiple product lines for new acquisition and retentions, setting and communicating clear guardrails across the business.
* Understand new price point requests and lead them through the commercial governance process for sign-off.
* Manage the price point and discount build process to ensure trading flexibility to meet business needs.
* Build cost models, develop elasticity models, and conduct offer/pricing performance forecasting & monitoring.
* Lead regular reviews of the pricing strategy and shape recommended responses using commercial analysis, presenting optionality, and driving optimized price decision-making.
* Provide key inputs into quarterly trading plans, support product launches, and report on pricing performance.
* Have a strong understanding of the current and future market to define a clear pricing strategy.
* Engage with market research and customer segmentation teams to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activities to shape the commercial pricing strategy.
* Implement and regularly review pricing processes across the business, owning audit reviews and requests.
* Work collaboratively with Commercial colleagues and stakeholders across TalkTalk to develop and deliver the commercial pricing plan.
About You:
* You will be a highly experienced pricing individual with significant knowledge and experience from a similar subscription-based industry.
* You will have worked with external IT stakeholders for pricing execution.
* You will have strong business partnering experience, including working with the Board / Exco.
* You will have proven commercial experience.
* You will have worked in a fast-paced environment where change is the norm.
