This is an exciting opportunity within a developing and fast-growing division of SCL Education Group. This position will play an important part in supporting the achievement of our future growth plans.Reporting to the Operations Director in SCL Professional, the main part of your role is to engage with potential apprentices to conduct a thorough gap analysis against the knowledge skills and behaviours related to apprenticeship standards and initially assess their suitability for their chosen programme. You will then complete the paperwork to a compliant standard and liaise with the relevant trainers to confirm suitability. You will focus on delivering a brilliant level of service and excellent learner experience.
This role will be mainly home-based but with an opportunity to meet learners and clients face to face from time to time.
Roles and Responsabilities
To book and complete gap analysis with apprentices and their line managers to ensure their suitability for the programme
To complete the required paperwork and ensure that submissions meet the requirements of the DfE funding guidance and SCL’s internal compliance team
To liaise with the appropriate trainers and describe what judgements have been proposed and the reasoning.
To support the onboarding, the client and commercial teams to liaise with potential apprentices to ensure all their enrolment paperwork is completed prior to their first learning session.
Work with the trainers across a range of programmes to develop a full understanding of each apprenticeship programme and the required role profile so that you can assess the gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
Achieve individual KPIs as defined by the Operations Director.
Work with operational and curriculum teams to produce reports related to learner experience that will help inform our quality improvement planning process.
Develop outstanding working relationships with SCL Professional’s Commercial, Programme Design, Quality, and Operational teams to ensure that we always deliver on our promises.
To promote and adhere to all company policies and procedures and to ensure you always set a good example.
To complete any other reasonable instruction from your manager as per the needs of the department and the business.
Commit to continuing your own development with support from the operational team to ensure you are always current with industry knowledge and funding rules/changes.
Be a role model and ambassador for both SCL Professional and the wider Group.
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to engage enthusiastically and professionally with apprentices at all levels (essential)
