We encourage each other, we provide new opportunities to learn and develop, and we celebrate our successes with one of the best after-season parties you’ll ever attend About the Role We are currently recruiting for Control Operations Assistant, to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy In this role you'll receive the most diverse range of enquiries in the whole Resort. The team is the central hub of communications and is key to the day to day running of the park. They deal with all manner of issues from reuniting lost children with their parents, communicating general information to our guests and supporting the incident management team when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and coordinate park operations from the control room, ensuring all rides and attractions are operating safely and according to schedule. Communicate clearly with ride operators, managers, and security teams to respond to any operational issues. Use various control systems to track ride performance, guest flow, and operational incidents. Assist in managing park-wide responses to emergency situations, ensuring all protocols are followed. Provide updates and briefings to management and operational teams as necessary. Collaborate with maintenance teams to report any mechanical or technical issues. Maintain detailed records and reports of operational activities, incidents, and daily performance. Support the park’s daily opening and closing procedures. About You: Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in a control room or operational environment is a plus but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Keen attention to detail, particularly in following health and safety procedures.
