Birmingham Hippodrome has been entertaining audiences for over 125 years and welcomes well over 500,000 visitors through its doors each year. The Marketing team plays a leading role in upholding Birmingham Hippodrome’s brand, meeting sales, visitor and audience targets for a diverse range of shows, events and programmes of work.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with colleagues in departments across the organisation, this hands-on role focuses primarily on selling tickets for our 1800-seat auditorium in line with Birmingham Hippodrome’s audience development strategy. The position liaises with visiting company producers and agents and works closely with Birmingham Hippodrome’s Ticket Sales and Comms teams, in order to devise, implement and monitor effective and creative marketing campaigns that meet business objectives.
The role requires an individual with a close eye for detail and an interest in devising fresh approaches to retaining audiences and extending the reach of Birmingham Hippodrome to wider communities. We are looking for an ability to take on new challenges, multi-task, innovate and collaborate, whilst representing Birmingham Hippodrome in our industry.
