By joining our dynamic photography studio team, you’ll help us to bring our brand vision to life through styling shoots that create inspiring imagery that resonates with our audience. We are seeking a talented and creative Stylist to join our photography studio team. In this role, you will be responsible for styling our activewear & lifestyle pieces for photo shoots for e-commerce, look book and creative shoots, ensuring that each product is presented in its best light to highlight both the functionality and versatility of our collections. You will work closely with the Studio, Brand Creative, VM, Online and Product teams to execute photo shoots that highlight the Sweaty Betty brand and product with a true consumer focus. This includes supporting the Brand Styling Editor in managing the styling process, working with on-set talent and team, samples, and production to ensure the smooth running of each shoot, enabling great quality and creativity on-set, whether in our King’s Cross based studio or out on location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Styling for Photoshoots: Plan, execute, and style outfits for all e-commerce (model - stills and motion, and tabletop accessories), creative still life shoots, supporting Brand Styling Editor in the rack up and prep of all styling, helping to deliver an additional model look per every shot on e-com to inspire customers with multiple ways-to-wear. Collaboration: Work closely with photographers, makeup artists, models, and art directors to bring the brand's vision to life. Collaborating with the Producer on studio sample workflow and shoot related administrative tasks. Creative Shoot Preparation: Assisting the Brand Styling Editor as Assistant Stylist on all location and lookbook shoots, including prep and model fittings. Assist in shoot planning by providing input on looks, props, and overall styling direction. Wardrobe Management: Organise and maintain the wardrobe, preparing clothing for shoots, and ensuring all garments are in top condition (e.g., steaming, cleaning, etc.). Working with the Producer to ensure priorities are identified and met. Maintain equipment and supplies in preparation for all shoots to enable high quality output. Future Focus: Delivering high quality styling through the introduction of motion on the e-commerce set. Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion and activewear trends to ensure the brand remains relevant and on-trend in all imagery. Supporting the Brand Styling Editor on model and creative research where needed, as well as the development and testing of e-commerce output. Post-Shoot Organisation: Ensure all wardrobe items are returned and stored properly after each shoot, and manage any product returns, exchanges, or re-styling requests. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a stylist, ideally within a studio environment in the fashion, activewear, or lifestyle industry. Portfolio: A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to style activewear and other fashion garments for photo shoots. Project Management Skills: Strong ability to juggle multiple shoots and priorities, with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a hands-on, can-do approach. Collaborative Working: Experience working collaboratively within a brand and across multiple teams, be it in the studio or on location. Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with creative teams to execute the desired vision. Creative Vision: A keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to create styling concepts that align with the brand’s identity. Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs. Problem-Solving: A creative and pro-active thinker who can manage unforeseen challenges with a calm and solution-oriented approach, able to be flexible and adapt to change. Fashion Knowledge: Deep understanding of fashion, trends, and styling techniques, with a particular focus on activewear, athleisure, and performance clothing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with female-focused brands or in the activewear sector. Knowledge of digital media and photography platforms, including image management and sharing tools. Some familiarity with photography software from the point of view of making selects on set, as well as an overall understanding of the post-production process and requirements downstream. Proficiency in production tools like Monday.com, Sample Management Tools, or other project management software.
