The Half Moon Inn is a local community pub and restaurant in Stakeford, Northumberland. We offer exceptional food, high-quality drinks and cocktails, and a friendly face to all who walk through our doors. To assist with the growth of the business, we are now on the lookout for an ‘Assistant General Manager’.
The job role of the Assistant General Manager is to assist and deputize in the General Manager’s absence. You will be responsible for the implementation and upholding of high-quality customer service standards from yourself and the team you will be responsible for.
Day to day, you will be required to undertake both front of house and administrative duties including but not exclusive to:
1. Cash handling and recording
2. Sales management
3. Website and social media presence
4. Rotas and timesheets
5. Customer bookings
6. Accommodation admin
7. Opening and closing of the venue
8. Working within budget parameters
9. Working with the GM to assist moving the business forward
Candidates must have experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a management position. Candidates should have experience with food, cocktails, and coffees.
