Our Burnley Primary School is seeking a part-time Site Supervisor to join their team. Our school is seeking a Part-Time Site Supervisor to help keep our school safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Job Title: Part-Time Site Supervisor
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, typically 3 hours per day – timing negotiable. Hours will either be 6am – 9am or 7am – 10am)
Salary: £13.75 - £14 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: View to go permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and/or closing the school site each day
- Ensuring the premises are secure and well-maintained
- Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and DIY tasks
- Supporting with the setup of school events and activities
- Monitoring site health and safety, including routine checks
- Liaising with contractors and school staff as needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is practical, proactive, and takes pride in their work
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Can manage time effectively and work independently
- Has experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
