The successful applicant will be part of the Work Experience team, the role will require liaison with managers, other support staff, lecturers, trainers and assessors. You would be required to attend regular meetings with the supervisor and assessor and complete all components of the Apprenticeship Framework.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm including a 1hr lunch break. 37 hours a week.
Duration: 1 year 6 months
Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
1. Deal with customers in a pleasant and effective manner.
2. Work effectively within internal and external networks.
3. Contribute to the effective running of the area.
4. Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall team.
5. Provide support for a range of work experience activities.
6. Use a range of office equipment, making the best use of all available technology.
7. Prepare documents and maintain records using the full range of Microsoft Office.
8. Maintain manual filing systems as appropriate.
9. Answer telephone/s, take accurate messages and forward in a timely manner.
10. Follow all College policies and procedures.
11. Be responsible for self-development in line with the College’s strategic aims.
12. Carry out any other duties which may arise which are commensurate with the post and the Conditions of Service.

Your training plan
Apprenticeship training will be based solely within Cheshire College South and West for this post. The successful applicant will be supported by an employer mentor and by a dedicated assessor.
