Maintenance Engineer (3 shifts per week)
Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our globally renowned manufacturing client in Carrickfergus. They are on the lookout for Maintenance Engineers to join their team. This role allows for a better work/life balance, as you would work only 3 shifts per week (a total of 36 hours), leaving the rest of your time for personal activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Formulating and executing Planned Maintenance Programmes for machinery/equipment on-site.
2. Ensuring compliance with all pertinent legislation, prioritising the safety and functionality of machinery/equipment.
3. Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.
4. Proposing and implementing efficiency-enhancing solutions as part of continuous improvement endeavors.
What we are looking for:
1. An Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering qualification (third level or higher).
2. Demonstrable background in a Maintenance role, ideally within a Manufacturing facility.
3. Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship.
4. Proficiency in both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance practices.
5. Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
